Your opinion please...
Sometimes we artists need to get others' opinions. I am currently working on a project at work called Christian College Link, a free magazine promoting Christian higher education to be distributed amongst senior high students at churches and Christian private schools.
Anyway, I am doing the design and layout of the publication, and if it's not too much trouble, I would like you to get your opinion. Basically, I'd like to know you think of the color scheme, pictures, backgrounds, fonts, etc...
• Is there anything you think is really cheesy about it?
• Is there anything you think is really cool about it?
• How do you think high school students will respond to it?
Click on the cover image below to see the latest draft (it's an Acrobat PDF slightly under 5 meg):
All of the images have been inserted and the layout is pretty much done, but typos have not been corrected and the advertisements have not been inserted. Your opinion? Click "Comments" below to leave your opinion.
Thanks for your help!
EDIT (08.nov.04): The above link now will take you to the CCL website.

Floyd's Movie Reviews and Previews
Napoleon Dynamite. (Out now.) Flippin' sweet! One of the funniest movies ever. Go see it now.
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. (Sept. 17) Robots! Flying things! Ray guns! More robots! It's gonna be great! It comes out this Friday! I hope it doesn't stink.
Star Wars Episodes IV-VI DVDs. (Sept. 21) Finally, the orginal Star Wars trilogy is coming out on DVD, complete with more changes (sort of a "Special Edition 2.0") although the new changes either fix some of the bad changes from the first special edition or they make the movies more consistant with the prequel trilogy. And don't start whining about all this again - they're Lucas's movies and he has the right to do whatever he wants with them.
Anyway, it's a fun month for movies.
